Second Hand Husband - Hindi movie review

Rating: ***

NO GUARANTEE. NO WARRANTY.

Actor Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja (Narmmadaa) is being launched in this romantic comedy. So is this one Gippy Grewal’s debut in Bollywood too.
Gurpreet (Tina Ahuja) and Rajbir (Gippy Greval) are in love and want to marry each other. Gurpreet is a practising lawyer and Rabjir has filed for divorce from his ex-wife Neha (Geeta Basra).
Gurpreet’s parents are open to this idea, however her brother (Ravi Kishan) is against his daughter getting married to a ‘second hand husband’. The brother dreams of getting his sister married to a bachelor Punjabi boy in Canada as he too gets a chance to go to Canada.
The only hitch stopping this couple is the alimony amount of Rupees 30,000 per month that Rajbir has to pay every month to his ex-wife, Neha. While Rajbir earns barely 45,000 a month.

Now my focus is on Bollywood: Ravi Kishan

Ravi Kishan’s first interview post the General Elections

Having contested as a Congress party’s Candidate in this general election from Jounpur, Uttar Pradesh, unfortunately, he did not win. Post the election results, he is back to his work, and in Mumbai he shot for his upcoming Bhojpuri film’Baazigar’.
In between the takes, heres what Ravi Kishan has to share with us about his experience during the elections:
What about the delays and losses of your upcoming films while you were canvassing for the elections?
No , actually I already had informed all the producers before the election and that time I had not made any new commitments and wasn’t signing any films. Then there were other problems because most of the films shutting was not done and one Marathi films dubbing also left incomplete, but now that I have returned, hope to finish it asap.

Bullet Raja - Bollywood Film Review

Rating: **

Raja Mishra (Saif Ali Khan) is a Brahmin boy in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh looking for a job but gets involved with goons, and when he is chased, Raja sees a wedding procession and joins it.

It is the local strongman's daughter's wedding and the procession is headed towards the strongman’s haveli, where Raja instantly befriends the bride's cousin, Rudra Tripathi (Jimmy Shergill). Within hours, Rudra and Raja become best of friends, and Raja becomes a part of rest of the functions and events of this Lucknowi wedding.

Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja has unrealistic gunfights, goons openly ruling the city, depicting incompetence of police force and a mishmash of love, politics and the underworld. It is a below average film.
