Mallika Sherawat has been busy with Hollywood projects but now there’s a Bollywood film which has excited her. Director Saandesh B. Nayak’s Zeenat is all set to be her first Hindi film this year. A social drama, Zeenat focuses on relationships.
Saandesh B. Nayak confirms signing Mallika Sherawat and said, “She is extremely co-operative and is super excited about the project.”

Mallika Sherawat explains, “I feel that the script of Zeenat is a subject which is almost in the space of work that I am associated for a while now.

MS Dhoni – is now Tax free in Maharashtra


MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has been declared tax free in Maharashtra after getting tax free in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. 

Since Dhoni has made the nation proud, the state government of Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh had made the movie Tax free some days back.

Now Maharashtra government has decided to waive the entertainment tax for the movie, as MS Dhoni : The Untold Story is being loved by the whole nation and people of Maharashtra too look upto Dhoni as an inspiration.

So MS Dhoni: The Untold Story getting tax free in Maharashtra is like an icing on the cake for makers of this movie.
 
Arun Pandey shared, ”We are humbled and extremely thankful to the CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and his esteemed team for making Mahi’s biopic Tax Free in the state. Mahi’s journey is an extremely inspiration one and through this more people will get to see the movie and see the life of this amazing sportsman.”

Nil Battey Sannata’s first poster launched on Women’s Day!

The first official poster of Eros International, Colour Yellow Productions (Aanand L Rai) and Jar Pictures’ Nil Battey Sannata is out.
Directed by debutant filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari (wife of filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari), the movie stars Swara Bhaskar, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ria and Pankaj Tripathi.
Since the film deals with a charming story of a mother and her daughter and talks about aspirations and dreams, the makers including producers – Aanand L Rai, Eros and Jar Pictures and director Ashwiny decided to reveal the movie’s first look on Women’s Day.
Interestingly, Swara will be seen portraying the challenging role of a mother for the first time on screen. Nil Battey Sannata is a lighthearted fun-filled exploration of a mother and daughter’s relationship to schooling and ambition. Tiwari’s drama is a powerful account of motherly love and the often turbulent conflict that can exist between generations.
The movie received tremendous response at the Silk Road International Film Festival in China and the BFI London Film Festival last year. Swara also won Best Actress award for the movie at the Silk Road International Film Festival.
Produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Jar Pictures and directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Nil Battey Sannata stars Swara Bhaskar, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ria and Pankaj Tripathi. The film will be distributed in India by Eros International and it’s scheduled to release 22nd April 2016.

‘Neerja’ the film sets a benchmark with social marketing !

Neerja Bhanot was an ordinary 23 year old girl with an extraordinary soul. For this a group of likeminded individuals got together with their expertise and created the movie Neerja because this story needed to be told.
Neerja is a biopic drama on the life Neerja Bhanot played by Sonam Kapoor, directed by Ram Madhvani, produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged.
It is the courageous story of a 23 year old girl – an air hostess – who lost her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5th September 1986. Movie releases in theatres on 19th February 2016.

BOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR SALMAN KHAN LAUNCHES THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE MOVIE KHWAABB

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan today launched the music album of the upcoming Bollywood movie Khwaabb at a glittering ceremony at Taj, Lands End.  

KHWAABB is a sports drama, showcasing the struggle of our athletes. Produced by Arjuna Awardee MoraadAli Khan, it features newcomers Navdip Singh and Simer Motiani in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes actors like Nafisa Ali, Rishi Mighlani and Theatre Star Bajrangbali Singh.

The album is an eclectic mix of various genres of music. It includes a powerhouse title track performed by Sonu Nigam, composed by acclaimed musician Sandeep Chowta. The album has a rustic fun track- TV ki Jai Ho performed by Kailash Kher and a soft love ballad Shamein performed by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. Both songs  have been composedby Sajjad Ali Chandwani. Young and brilliant talent, Amal Mallik has scored the soundtrack of the film. Top international drummer Virgil Donati has played on the title track, the lyrics for which have been penned by Sameer.  

KHWAABB soundtrack brings together a great amalgamation of talent, music and flavours that music lovers would enjoy. The event witnessed some of the most prominent personalities of the Entertainment fraternity in attendance. Amongst those who graced the occasion were Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Daboo Malik and Moraad Ali Khan.According to Producer Moraad Ali Khan, & "If you are a sports lover, sportsperson or yours kids play sports; I can assure you that Khwaabb will relate to some part of  your own story. The Movie Khwaabb is a story about the birth of a dream, of ambition and the fierce passion to achieve that dream amidst unceasing tribulations. This intense personal journey is set in the larger, bureaucratic world of Indian sports. It illustrates why a country with a population of 1.2 billion people cannot producemedal-winning athletes. Khwaabb is the story of two such athletes and their struggle to succeed in the cutthroat, debauched and mired world of Indian sports. The album is available exclusively on Junglee Music.
